My Moray Firth sweater has been inspired by the sea where I live in the north of Scotland. I live along a stretch of coast called the Moray Firth and is one of the most beautiful places in the north.

Occasionally, the sea can be calm, turquoise and near glass like. Sometimes the sea can be turbulent, stormy and dark with huge waves that engulf the beaches and cliffs. It’s also filled with wildlife from seals to dolphins and the odd whale too. In my Moray Firth Sweater, I’ve tried to encapsulate not just the colour, but also the movement of the sea.

This design is knitted using the fair isle technique. The style is oversized and comfortable with slim fitting sleeves as I find this more comfortable for myself to wear.
